Ready-to-use polishing fluid for machine application used to increase the lustre of polished, light-coloured soft stone, e.g. limestone (travertine), marble and onyx (s.a. Botticino, Crema Marfil, Jura, Carrara, Thassos, Sievec) or dark-coloured soft stone, e.g. limestone (travertine), e.g. Belgisch Hardsken, Irish Limestone, Nero Marquina, Negro Pinta, Gasgan Black, Levadia Black, Ruivina Escuro and different dark-coloured types of onyx. The lustre of edges, draining boards and small surfaces can easily be finished. Reliefs, tombstones, balustrades can be polished. The product is used in the industrial production and suitable for brightening up already laid flooring. Application also on surfaces with residual moisture. Colours: white or dark grey.

Produces an anti-slip effect on smooth polished and glazed surfaces, especially granite, gneiss, gabbro, other types of hard stone, ceramic tiles and enamelled surfaces and can be used inside and outside.

The surfaces which have been treated with AKEMI Anti Slide R9 normally comply with the requirements pertaining to slip prevention under wet conditions as laid down in DIN 51130 and BGR 181 (previously ZH 1/571 – class R 9 slip resistance) as well as the US guidelines on surface safety OSHA/ADA). The polish of the stone and the
attractiveness of the colour are retained to a wide extent. Protective impregnation with Stain Repellent Super or Colour Intensifier does not impair the class R 9 slip resistance (tested by the LGA Würzburg).

After pre-treatment with Basic Crystallizer AK 1 the Finish Crystallizer AK 2 is used to improve the surface and appearance of new as well as old floor coverings made of limestone (e.g. marble, travertine) or cement-bound cast stone (e.g. terrazzo). A well-balanced combination of chemical substances additionally increases the lustre, enhances the colour and at the same time reduces the hazard of slipping. Matt spots and tread marks can be polished away by repeating the crystallisation.

As a result of a chemical reaction the surface‘s resistance to wear and tear is increased even more. Active substances increase the lustre, enhance the colour and at the same time reduce the hazard of slipping.
