Berger Zinc Chromate Red Oxide Primer

Berger Red Oxide Primer is formulated for interior and exterior use on ferrous metal and is not usually suitable for galvanized or nonferrous metals like aluminium, copper or brass. Ferrous metals contain iron. To confirm if your metal is ferrous or nonferrous, test it using a magnet. Ferrous metals are magnetic, and nonferrous metals are not. Berger Red Oxide Primer is an anti-corrosion coating, designed to stop rust formation. It can be applied directly over a rusty surface and is most ideal for exterior use. Red oxide primer can be coated with Berger 404, Rustpro or Machinery Enamel once dry.

Features

Ensure that all substrates are clean and free from grease or oil
A clean surface ensures proper adhesion of the primer
Remove all loose and flaking material by scraping with a paint scraper, wire brush or by sanding
For some metals, flame cleaning or grit blasting may be necessary

MRF’s Maintenance Coat consists of Manufacturing High Build, Versatile Epoxy Undercoats and PU top coats for countering corrosion of extreme nature. MRF also offers a very high Heat-resistant Aluminium paint (200-600 Deg C heat withstand able paint).

All these undercoats are made out of mainly epoxy formulations including the Self Priming Protectomastic filler which can be used in water logged/ water prone areas and where cleaning is only partially possible.

MRF GlassCoat can be applied over exterior portion of any type of bottles be it perfume or liquor. This GlassCoat has excellent resistance against alcohol spillage, good scratch hardness and excellent aesthetic finish.

These Glass coatings are offered in both colour concentrates as well as clear finishes through which various shades & finishes can be achieved ( Eg: Frost, Translucent, Transparent, etc.,).

Dow Corning® 795 Silicone Building Sealant is a one-part, neutral-cure, architectural-grade sealant that easily extrudes in any weather and cures quickly at room temperature. This cold-applied, non-sagging silicone material cures to a medium- modulus silicone rubber upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. The cured sealant is durable and flexible enough to accommodate ±50 percent movement of original joint dimension when installed in a properly designed weather seal joint.
