Protection tape 2207 is made of highly conformable polyethylene film backing coated with synthetic rubber adhesive. The polymer film provides high strength to the tape and the medium tack synthetic rubber PSA attributes to the repositionability and adhesion to various types of surfaces. The low surface energy of polyethylene film makes it easy unwind and dispense with large dispensers in wider widths. The conformability of film makes it suitable to apply on precoated surfaces, bare metals and variety of plastics. The polymer film has good solvent & water resistance that make it resistant to humid inplant environment.
